Because it is a well known fact that there are a lot of charlatans selling fake Magical objects and amulets on internet, i have established a clear "star code" on my website so that customers know exactly the origin and level of certification i can give on any given amulet/object offered on Magiedubouddha.com
Amulet/object that i purchased myself straight from Temple or received straight from the hands of the Master who made it. Item is certified 100% genuine.
Even years from now
if you can proof that a "3 star" item i sold you is fake i will refund you without discussion.
Amulet/object i purchased myself from a direct disciple of the Master , or from a reputed seller or a seller i know since a long time as honnest : Item is very likely genuine (over 90% chance) , still since i did not got it MYSELF from Temple i cant certify it to be 100% genuine (yes, im a bit paranoïd when it come to authenticity...)
Amulet/object that was purchased from a private collector or seller i dont know well :
I do my very best to avoid fakes so i can say that the odd's are about 75 % genuine items amongst the "1 star" items and the rest being good replicas.
I work hard and travel far to offer mainly amulets obtained straight from Temple, but of course when i want to offer amulets from a batch that is finished from Temple, or amulets from a Master who died years ago, i have no other options but to turn to private collectors and markets.
So PLEASE, dont be shy to ask me for more detailled pictures and to show those pictures to knoledgeable people BEFORE to buy any "2 star" and "1 star" amulet , this in order to avoid any type of problem between you and me.
I want you to take the decision to buy any item with as much accurate information as possible and to be happy for years with what you buy from me.
I value my customers and believe a happy customer allway come back and often with friends, so i never cheat and go often out of my way to help my customers.
I dont pretend to be a great expert, i do some time mistakes like everyone else, and on some occasions some dishonnest sellers can fool me.
Still i can say its hard to fool me about such items because i am studying Buddhism and the Occult arts since almost two decades, i travelled a lot and also used to work for years trading antiques, so i can avoid all the most common tricks and traps.
There are over 30.000 Temples in Thaïland, a large number of them are issuing amulets, and as soon as a Master become famous there are profesionnal fake-makers who start to make 1000's of replicas of his amulets...
Internet is also full with some crappy "Tibetan" Magical artefacts that are in fact not Magical or Holy at all but factory-made in China...
So anyone who tell you he know EVERYTHING about Thaï or Tibetan amulets and can authentify ANY Magical object showed to him is clearly a liar.
Or maybe he is super-human?
