Because it is a well known fact that a LOT of the Buddhist amulets that are sold in and out of Thaïland are fake, i have decided to establish a code on my website so that my customers know exactly the origin and level of "certification" i can give on any amulet offered on Magiedubouddha.com
Amulet that i purchased myself straight from Temple or received straight from the hands of the monk/Ajarn who made it. Item is certified 100% genuine.
Amulet i purchased myself from a direct disciple of the Master who issued the amulet, or from a reputed seller or a seller i know since a long time as honnest. Item is very likely genuine (over 90% chance) , still since i did not got it MYSELF from Temple i cant certify it to be 100% genuine (yes, im a bit paranoïd when it come to authenticity...)
Amulet that was purchased from a private collector or from a market. Item can be or genuine or fake. I do my very best to avoid fakes when i buy from markets so i would say that the odd's are about 60 or 70% genuine items and the rest being good replicas.
I try to be offering mainly amulets obtained straight from Temple, but of course when i want to offer amulets from a batch that is finished from Temple, or amulets from a Master who died years ago, i have no other options but to turn to private collectors and markets.
So PLEASE, dont be shy to ask me for more detailled pictures and to show those pictures to knoledgeable people BEFORE to buy any "2 star" and "1 star" amulet , this in order to avoid any type of problem between you and me. I want you to be carefull in your purchase decision and to be happy with what you buy from me.
This being sayed, i want to make clear that i wont issue any refund for an amulet i sold if you contact me later with claims like "My brother-in-law who has been reading a book from the Dalai Lama last year think its an ugly amulet" or "I showed my amulet to the waiter in my favorite Thaï restaurant and he think its fake".
There are over 30.000 Temples in Thaïland, a good part of them are issuing amulets, and as soon as a Master become famous there are profesionnal fake-makers who start to make 1000's of replicas of his amulets... So anyone who tell you he know EVERYTHING about Thaï amulet and can authentify ANY amulet showed to him is clearly or a liar or a dreamer, or maybe he is super-human?

Let us authentify your amulets! WE know everything!
I dont pretend to be a great expert, i am not a liar and not a dreamer...and no, i m not super-human either, so yes, despite all my effort i can some time get fooled and offer fake amulets on my website, this is why i ask you to be cautious and take time to think before you buy any of the "2 stars" and "1 star" items.
THANKS FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING
